The College of Legal Practice partners with Oxford Brookes School of Law to offer discounted access to SQE Preparation Courses
The Oxford Brookes School of Law has always aimed to offer practical legal skills, complemented with academic rigour, to their students, helping them successfully compete in the legal services market. As a progressive institution that is focused on their students’ career opportunities, they are now facilitating access to the new route to qualify as a solicitor, the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).
In this new partnership, The College of Legal Practice will offer Oxford Brookes law students appropriate guidance and information on the SQE route to qualification, alongside discounted preparation courses. The College’s SQE preparation courses are fully accredited by the Office for Students and can be taken separately or together within an LLM in Legal Practice, eligible for Masters Loan funding.
The quality of teaching and focus on practical legal skills offered by The College of Legal Practice closely mirrors Oxford Brookes School of Law’s own academic and career focused approach.

The College’s SQE preparation courses are intensive, high quality courses that guide learners through SQE1 and SQE2 and equip students with the legal skills they need to begin work as a legal professional. Through weekly live individual supervision, supported by group work and a ground-breaking learning portal, our flexible courses ensure that every student can develop and perform to the best of their abilities in the SQE. The courses are offered at competitive prices, with the SQE1 preparation course priced at £1,800. Oxford Brookes University Students will receive a discounted rate on course fees.
