Student Voice
Your experience at the College is of paramount importance to us
Although delivered exclusively online, we hope you will find the College to be a community which embraces diversity, fosters real-life learning and is a space where you can feel connected to others.
The Student Voice
Hearing your voice and feedback is vital to us. We want to ensure that every student studying with us has the opportunity to provide feedback formally and informally on all aspects of our programmes, from teaching and materials, through to administration and communication.
Informal Feedback
Every student will be assigned a Personal Tutor who they can contact for pastoral support as well as Supervisors on each module of study. You are encouraged to feedback directly to your Personal Tutors and Supervisors throughout your time at the College, who will provide any feedback directly to Programme Leaders and/or Student Services.
Our Student Services team are also on hand throughout your time at the College to assist and are happy to receive any feedback you may wish to provide.
We really encourage our students to make the most of these informal feedback channels so that we can respond to you as quickly as possible and ensure you are getting the most out of your experience at the College.
Formal Feedback
As well as informal feedback, we have a number of mechanisms for formal feedback to ensure your voice is heard.
You will be invited to complete questionnaires at the end of your courses. The findings from the questionnaires are used to shape the future delivery of the programmes, and where necessary, we will respond directly.
We also use Student Representatives to liaise between the student body and the College Management Team.
Student Representatives
The Student Representative (Student Rep) is a key role within the student body. They represent the student voice at the College, usually representing their specific cohort for a particular course. The Student Reps will effectively listen to, collate and communicate the views of all the students they represent, sharing these views via relevant platforms, such as Staff/Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) meetings, to improve the learning experience.
If you’re interested in becoming a Student Rep, you will have an opportunity to apply at the start of your course. Contacts the Student Services team for more information: studentsupport@collegalpractice.com
Staff / Student Liaison Committee
The Staff / Student Liaison Committee is an integral forum which actively participates in the governance of the College. Attended by the Student Representatives, senior Academic Members of the College and members of the Student Services team, the Committee is a space for information and feedback sharing both from the Student Body to the College and from the College to the Student Body.
The Committee will be involved in agreeing the Programme Evaluation Report, which is presented to our most senior academic committee, the Programme Committee, at the conclusion of a programme of study, to ensure your voice is heard.
We believe in forming a true collaboration and partnership with our students and the student body. We will always be transparent about the feedback we receive and share with the student body the actions we will take following the feedback.
Whatever your feedback may be, we really do want to hear from you. Please feel free to reach out to your Personal Tutor or Supervisor at any time. Student Services are available at studentsupport@collegalpractice.com and 020 3884 4112.
