Webinar: Securing Legal Work Experience

Date: 3 June 2024

Time: 18:00 - 19:00

Are you looking to get your first role in the legal sector? Perhaps you are finishing your law degree this summer, or looking to work alongside your study? Come along to this free panel session, in partnership with Bristol Law Society, to hear experiences and advice from those already in the sector.

We have brought together a diverse panel to explore this and answer your questions:

  • Charlotte Bradbury (she/her) is a transgender woman from a working class background and now works in-house as an employment lawyer
  • Egbe Manton also works in-house, and founded Inspire Law Global, an organisation that empowers early talent through coaching, consulting, and training for success in the legal industry.
  • Stuart Henry, (he/him) President of Bristol Law Society and Litigation Consultant at Taylor Rose

The content of the session will be informed by your registration questions for the panellists, including:

  • Advice for getting your first work placement
  • How you should prepare yourself to impress
  • What to consider when applying for roles

The session will last about an hour, and please submit your questions for the panel.
